BMW had succeeded in a big way, implementing the trick of getting drivers and passengers to smile. Regardless of the model, the cars from bavarian manufacturer draws an attention in a positive way even when parked. The new BMW 1 Series is no exception to this.

With a number of major changes, the all new 1 series has become a mature car with several family resemblance from larger models. Although the new 1-series appearance is the same, there are angles and lines that make the new design still stands out. The front looks much more modern with slimmer bumpers, wide grille and new LED light. The new rear end comes with wider and sleek LED tail lights which make the car feel somewhat narrower than before.

It’s not just the look that got itself up in the game, but on the inside and under the hood we find big changes. All diesel engines are new and all are equipped with increased performance, lower emissions and better fuel economy. Although petrol engines are up to date, and is significantly more efficient than before and will partly receive more power. The most economical model is a three-cylinder diesel 116d efficient dynamic with automatic transmission. It is one of the cleanest and environment-friendly cars in the segment.

Interior receives significant updates. It has a 6.5-inch display adjust the brightness depending on ambient light conditions. Automatic rain sensor, self-regulating air conditioning and AUX input comes as standard equipment. Among the different model trims namely Sports-line, Urban-line and M-sport, options such as bigger 8.8-inch display, touch sensitive keypad and BMW connectDrive with built-in SIM feature for continuous web surfing.

BMWs are always known as driver’s car and comes with updated modes of driving levels to select. A driver can choose to drive in economy, comfort or Sport mode depending upon road conditions, mood or traffic. With many of new features and modern design, the new BMW 1-series is a sharp and smart hatchback with more comfort than before. It is an interesting and worthy rival to Audi A3 and Mercedes A-class.
