After the launch of Subaru WRX, it is the time for new generation of Subaru Legacy. The official unveiling of the car will take place this week followed by debut at upcoming Chicago Motor Show but images are leaked online before the event. Subaru has given us a little preview in November in the form of Subaru Legacy Concept. The production ready car is no where near to the concept beautiful design. The front looks very similar to the new WRX model. At the back, the taillights are slimmer with spoiler like extended deck to add some sporty stance.
The interior is brand new with soft touch materials. It offer goodies like a newly designed steering wheel and a touch-screen multi-media system. So far there are no official news about the engines or technology, but it expected that Subaru will continue to offer four wheel drive as standard and updated versions of 2.0 liter and 2.4 liter boxer engines. A continuously variable lineartronic transmission is also available as an option. The model will be built in United States and will be available in showrooms after few months.
