American buyers love their pickup trucks and it is no wonder that Ford choose the Detroit Motor Show to present the latest generation of America’s best selling vehicle, the F-150. Although both the interior and exterior received a proper update, it is under the skin where major changes have occurred. Ford has invested heavily on aluminum, which means that the new F-150 is 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor.
In addition to weight loss, F-150 offers sevral new features that are not common in pick-up categogy. These include a 360 degree camera to help the driver navigate in tight spaces, integrated loading ramps, LED lights Front and Rear, adaptive cruise control and Trailer assist system which simplifies the procedure while connecting trailer.
Also new is the introduction of 2.7 liter V6 ecoboost engine which according to ford delivers same power as some entry level V8s. The ecoboost engine is not only powerful but fuel effiencient too. The well known 3.6 liter V6 ecoboost and 5.0 liter V8 will
be carried over from previous model. The F-150 is best selling truck in America since 37 years and we anticipate, the new F-150 with its smart package will sell much better than ever.
