It is not only environmental performance hybrids and concepts that fit on the Frankfurt motor show. Here are new details about British car company Caterham’s new entry-level model. The company has confirmed that 165 Seven will be on display in Frankfurt Motor Show. The name Caterham Seven 165 does not mean that the model gets 165 horses. Infact the car is equipped with three cylinder 660 cc engine from Suzuki which develops 80 hp and 107 Nm.
These figures might sound too low for a performance enthusiast but company president, Graham MacDonald is convinced that Caterham’s new entry-level model will be as fun to drive as the other high performance cars produced by the company. At a press release he stated that «We think we have got the formula just right for our new entry-level model». Caterham Seven 165 goes on sale in early 2014.
