Chevrolet later this week revealed the new restyled version of Camaro convertible, which will be displayed during the Frankfurt Motor Show starting in second week of September. The new convertible will have the same changes as the conventional coupe, i.e. new head optics, front grille, bumpers, wheels and MyLink multimedia system. At the rear, the tailgate has a slightly different design and the classic dual taillights are broader, along with the diffuser at the bottom. Other Updates on Camaro for model year 2014 is a new «heads-up display» that shows information on the windscreen. A seven-inch touch screen along with navigation package is also available.
There are no new engine upgrades in Camaro convertible and Coupe. Top of the line 6.2 liter V8 develops 432 hp and is mated with six speed manual or automatic transmission. The convertible accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and will be available to customers in early 2014. Camaro is an important model for Chevrolet in America, Europe and Middle east.
