Two new displacements enrich the sporting spirit of Ducati Monster Stripe series were presented at EICMA, the 821 and 1200 S. he stripes are characterized as double red livery with white-stride that cover fender, tank and seat cover. In addition, a red frame and black alloy rims are also offered for these versions.
The Supersport Stripe Monster 1200 S is equipped with 1198 cc Testastretta DS engine which delivers 145 hp. The suspension system is adjustable Ohlins with 48 mm in diameter. The front braking system is Brembo 330 mm which are equipped with M50 calipers. The 1200 S Stripe is equipped with TFT instrumentation with multiple riding modes. In addition to the Ducati safety pack, which allows you to vary ABS with 3 different modes and Ducati Traction Control(DTC) with 8 different levels of variations. Other features include Y-shaped three spoke wheels, LED direction indicators, carbon fiber front fender and seat height adjustment.
The Ducati Monster 821 Stripe is equipped with 821 cc Testastretta engine and develops 112 hp at 9250 rpm. The front forks are Kayaba 43 mm and are fully adjustable. The Sachs shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping uses a progressive linkage attached vertically on the twin swing arm made of cast aluminum. The twin swingarm of Monster 821 is shorter than that of its older brother and assures great agility.
