iPhone used as brake pads on a Porsche 911

There is a reason why the brake pads of automobiles are made with materials that provide high braking power and at the same time a long life. The YouTuber EverythingApplePro knows it, but they wanted to perform a crazy experiment on a Porsche 911 replacing the brake pads with the iPhone.

For precision, they have used four iPhone 4S mounted on rear callipers and four iPhone 5S mounted in front. This configuration was chosen to match the sheer size of brake pads mounted in back and front respectively. Three test were performed at 20, 40 and 60 miles per hour (approximately 32, 64 and 96 Km / h).

Needless to say, the iPhone were completely destroyed and fire coming out from wheels added more drama. However, despite seemingly fragile nature the iPhones, especially 4S lasted more than you could imagine. Watch out the video below.
