If you like Mclaren cars and think that Mclaren MP4-12C is too soft or P1 is out of reach as every single piece is now sold, then we have a good news for you. Mclaren has just showed its latest supercar which will be called 650S. McLaren arranged a secret premiere screening of its latest offering for selected customers. After a while Mclaren officially released pictures and video of 650S. As you can see from pictures, Mclaren 650S compliments both MP4-12C and P1. The front of the car looks very similar to P1 hypercar and back is almost like MP4-12C. Mclaren had also emphasized that 650S was developed with the assistance of Formula One driver Jenson Button.
New Mclaproved aerodynamics, suspension, brakes, transmission and tires. Mclaren 650S is equipped with PCC «Proactive Chassis Control» which was developed to provide adjustable settings for both drive-train and suspension. Three driving choices namely Normal, Sport and Track are available on board. Mclaren claims that PCC system works best in Track mode. The British manufacturer has managed to enhance the steering feel in 650S which was evidently lacking in MP4-12C.
The official premier of 650S will be held at Geneva Motor Show. It will cost less than 200,000 pounds. The new McLaren 650S will not replace the current MP4-12C, but the two will be built in parallel. McLaren 650S will be available as a coupe and spider version. Mclaren will further develop a track focused version of 650S to challenge Ferrari 458 Speciale. Deliveries will start in Spring 2014.
