The new Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG is the most powerful M-Class . Production has been completed and the first units will arrive at dealerships in early 2012
A gasoline V8, 5.5-liter, supercharged engine produces 525 hp of maximum power. With the optional «AMG Performance Kit» power climbs up to 557 hp. It’s the same engine available on AMG versions of Class E and Class CLS. The change is automatic seven-speed AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic gearbox.
Among the terrain over 4.80 meters in length and gasoline engine over 450 hp, the ML 63 AMG is the lowest price, just below the BMW X6 ActiveHybrid.It is also cheaper than models like the BMW X5 M , the Land Rover Range Rover V8 Supercharged, BMW X6 M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
The ML 63 AMG has approved an average consumption of 11.8 l/100 km, 28% less than the previous version of the M-Class AMG.
The maximum speed of the ML 63 AMG is limited to 155 miles/h and 174 miles/h with AMG Performance package. It accelerates from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds. For the consumption is low leads, among other things, it is equipped with device which automatic stop and start the engine (ECO Start / Stop).
It is equipped with seven standard airbags, driver fatigue detection (ATTENTION ASSIST), air suspension with adjustable damping and active roll (Active Curve System), MP3 CD radio with 5.5-inch screen, USB connection, Bluetooth handsfree, leather and alloy wheels with 20 inch(265/45) tires.
Optionally you can have adaptive lighting (ILS), active cruise control (DISTRONIC PLUS) that can intervene in the brake alert involuntary change lanes (LANE KEEPING ASSIST), detecting objects in the blind spot (BLIND SPOT ASSIST) hard disk or browser and Internet connection (COMAND Online). Also available are optional 21-inch wheels that are mounted on 295/35 R21 tires.
The package «AMG Performance», has increased engine power upto 32 hp and maximum torque to 60 Nm. Brake calipers are painted in red, four-spoke steering wheel upholstered in nappa black motor is covered by carbon fiber and various aesthetic elements are present in the contour of the body.
