The new MX-5 will be jointly developed by Mazda and Fiat and both manufacture will have two identical cars with different badges. One will be Mazda MX-5 Miata and other will be Alfa Romeo sports car. Both cars will be built by Mazda in Hiroshima. However it is still unknown whether the design of the car will follow the new Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 or design by Pininfarina.
