Mini had released a teaser image of new Clubman. The picture reveals lots of details, which are very similar to previously shown Clubman concept at Geneva Motor Show. We strongly believe that the 2016 Clubman like other Mini models will be based on BMW’s new front-wheel-drive UKL platform.
As we know, the Mini Clubman will be based on Concept which measures 4220 mm in length and 1840 mm in width. It is full 260 mm long and 170 mm wider than the previous generation model. The new Clubman thus will be the biggest car ever produced by Mini. Due to its increased size, the new car will be equipped with four bigger doors unlike previous model making it highly practical. Due to the longer wheelbase, the backspace would be roomier and comfortable than before. Expect the same engine to be carried from all Mini versions, all the way up to Cooper S with 192 hp and eventually a John Cooper Works version with 231 hp.
