Sebastian vettel won fourth F1 title

Sebastian Vettel won the Grand Prix race in India, this was his tenth win in 2013 season, sixth in a row and third consecutive win on this track. But the main celebration for Red Bull pilot was that this victory made him the F1 world champion for the fourth time. With this win he became the youngest quadruple champion in the history of Formula one. With his 43 pole positions, he is only trailing behind Michael Schumacher and Aryton Senna. After winning this world title, he has tied championship wins with Alain prost who also won four world championship in 1985,1986, 1989 and 1993. Sebastian Vettel is now only trailing behind Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher with five and seven world titles respectively.

It was an important day to red bull team as they have been consistent in proving brilliant strategy and solid car to grab the driver and team championship. Ferrari and Mercedes are left to fight for second and third place. For the second place in driver’s championship, the race is still on between Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen. The second and third position in Indian Grand Prix was captured by Nico Rosberg and Romain Grosjean. Daniel Ricardo finished tenth after being long attacked by Alonso who finally has to settle for eleventh position. The next Grand Prix race of the year will be held in Abu Dhabi this week.
